What shocked me most was how late people would present with very serious illnesses and injuries and then perhaps be too late for curative treatment.

My first surprise was how differently the hospital operated compared with hospitals in the UK.

I honestly don’t feel I can put how much I have actually learned into words but I would strongly encourage everyone to experience this if they can.
