Tijdens je vrijwillige stage in Dar Es Salaam heb je de mogelijkheid om te werken in een tertiair regeringsziekenhuis en het lokale regionale ziekenhuis. Behandelmethodes van Tanzaniaanse verloskundigen verschillen drastisch van die van Nederlandse verpleegkundigen, wat je stage volledig uniek maakt. Je kunt er ook voor kiezen om je te specialiseren in de neonatale intensive care of te werken met moeders die HIV-positief zijn. Buiten het ziekenhuis kun je ondermeer op safari gaan om groot wild te spotten, zoals neushoorns, leeuwen en tal van andere dieren. Lees hier de ervaringen van onze studenten!
