I had the best time and am already planning another Work the World placement once I am qualified

I had the chance to monitor and examine women during labour and perform a large number of deliveries. I was also able to get involved when women needed interventions such as putting in catheters, cannulas and also performing artificial rupture of membranes, episiotomies and suturing post partum.

The antenatal scans were not the typical 12 and 20 weeks scans, but could be as late as 38 weeks

Breakfast and dinner is cooked by Ophelia which is incredible!! There is something for everyone, whether you are vegetarian or the pickiest of eaters she will cater for you.

Small children (just 5 or 6 years old) were treated for complex conditions such as retinoblastomas
