Work the World had an easy-to-navigate MyTrip Placement Planner that provided all the relevant information to help me prepare for my placement.

It included links, detailed recommendations, and guides to obtain the required visa, explained all insurance details, and provided some general recommendations to ensure a safe and meaningful experience.

Work the World was always very responsive to any questions, including a Zoom meeting just before the trip.

Upon arrival in Vietnam, we were pleasantly surprised by the level of planning and professionalism, as well as the personal and friendly welcome we received, and the beautiful home setting provided to us.

Without exception, the in-country staff were always incredibly supportive. This included introductions to the hospital, department staff, and our supervisors, as well as ongoing feedback and support throughout the entire placement.

We went on excursions to cultural sites, remote healthcare centres, and some recreational activities.

Everything was thoughtfully arranged and selected to provide an outstanding experience that was well worth the time and money. 

Weekends were our time off, and they were ideal for exploring Vietnam. But even then, Work the World would support us if needed.

The team takes great pride in their excellent work and helps students to improve and challenge themselves, achieving outstanding learning experiences and creating wonderful, lasting memories.

My nursing placement was beyond all expectations. I have had the most incredible experience. Everything was so well organised, planned, and on time.

The hospital provided 100% of what we needed to develop our skills and further our learning. I have massively benefited from the last two weeks - all I could wish for at the end of this placement is that it would last just a few weeks longer.
